Cottage Accommodations

The cottage accommodations are ideal for small families, as well as for small groups. Each one is equipped with two bunk beds, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a porch on which guests can relax and reflect on how they were so inspired as to choose such a beautiful place.

Chalet Accommodations

The main chalet is better suited for bigger groups of people. It has five rooms, each with its own bathroom and bunk beds. Guests have easy access to the kitchen and the dining room, as each of our guests must freely satisfy their belly cravings after admiring their surroundings.

Outdoor Camping

The clean wide meadow nearby is the perfect place to set up tents in every way our guests desire. Think of how sweet your sleep will be at the foot of the mountain, and how delighted your heart will be when gazing at the stars next to someone who feels as you do.

Parking

Parking with easy access to the main road is available near the chalet and the cottages, allowing for the luggage to be carried for only a short distance. Leave your worries behind in the parking lot and become one with the wonderful energy of this place that welcomes and embraces everyone.

Mountain Hiking Trails

We can help you with information on hiking trails, so you can return to us, to your mountain home, in one piece.

our story

Vasile Sime thought of building this chalet in 1993. He stopped in Vârful Părului (1120 m) when the car he was driving from Huedin suddenly stopped and refused to start again. Thus, he started walking and he thought “It would be great to have a chalet up the mountain so I could rest there.” And the idea became reality. The following year he bought the land and built a 5-room chalet, as well as 6 small wooden cottages with bunk beds.

This place receives groups of visitors from the Czech Republic and Hungary, who return many times, amazed by the warmth of the place (despite the temperatures reaching -30 degrees during winter), and by the kindness of the hosts (Mr. Vasile’s wife cooks traditional food in the kitchen: sarmale, bean soup, and cheese pie). There’s a camping area here with toilets and showers with hot water. It’s a true paradise with many species of protected flowers that “flood” the sunny slopes.

The animals and plants, which are untouched in this part of the country, make it an ideal destination for researchers or nature lovers.

This is the beginning of the beautiful story of Padiș guest house, where people come with an open heart to ski, cycle on-road or off-road, and hike.

If you wish to visit Padiș for a weekend you can choose the hiking trail best suited for you, each of the ten trains having various difficulty levels.
